Synopsis:

From the international bestselling author of The Simple Wild comes Forever Wild, a novella that continues the story of Calla’s journey to the Alaskan wild and a life she never imagined for herself.

The holiday season is upon Calla and Jonah, and with the mistletoe and gingerbread comes plenty of family drama. Jonah is bracing himself for two weeks with a stepfather he loathes, and while Calla is looking forward to her mother and Simon’s arrival, she dreads the continued pressure to set a date for their wedding … in Toronto. Add in one bullheaded neighbor’s unintentional meddling and another cantankerous neighbor’s own family strife, and Christmas in Trapper’s Crossing will be anything but simple.

FOREVER WILD is a sequel to THE SIMPLE WILD (#1) and WILD AT HEART (#2).

My Review

This is a bit of a bittersweet review to be writing. I’m so happy K.A. Tucker gave us more of Jonah and Calla in FOREVER WILD but I’m so sad it’s the final book in their story! I have loved seeing how much these two have grown and how their relationship has evolved. FOREVER WILD brings all our favorite Trapper’s Crossing people together again plus brings both Calla’s and Jonah’s families together for the first time. It’s not always smooth sailing but I love how Calla and Jonah stick by each other and work things out together. FOREVER WILD truly is such a sweet ending (or should I say beginning?!) to their story.

I have loved Jonah and Calla’s story so much and will miss them so much. (Although I have hope we’ll get glimpses of them in Marie’s spinoff book!). I’m not sure I’ll be able to say goodbye completely, so I’ll just be thinking of them living their life together up in Alaska.

This series has brought me so much comfort and joy and I know it will be one I reread over and over again.
